Presenting a list of games that ESPN feels are more important than the Kansas (#2) - Kansas State (#5) matchup that will surely produce at least one number 1-seed in the NCAA tournament (presented in order of ridiculousness):

6. Duke (#4) v. Maryland (#23)
5. Oklahoma State (20-8) v. Texas A&M (#24)
4. UConn (17-12) v. Notre Dame (19-10)
3. Wake Forest (18-8) v. Florida State (20-8)
2. Virginia (14-13) v. Boston College (14-14)
1. Alabama (14-14) v. South Carolina (14-14)

So, let's just say for the sake of argument, that no one knew that Kansas State was going to be that good this year.  Let us even pretend that Kansas State hasn't won 20 games for three straight years, not including the 2009-2010 season.  Let us also pretend that Jacob Pullen and Denis Clemente were not considered to be two of the better upperclassmen in the Big 12 coming into this season.  Now, even with all of this information removed from consideration, isn't an interstate battle in the last week of the season more desirable than an SEC shitstorm between two perennial losers?  Or an ACC brick-a-thon?  Not to mention a battle between an ACC has-been and a never-was.  Shit, even on pre-season paper, the Kansas showdown looks better than the other Big 12 square dance!

But hey, at least you can watch the game on your laptop, right?  Cool.  Good show, ESPN.  Your role as a sports gatekeeper is truly merited.
