32 Things

As you may or may not have noticed, this blog is strongly biased toward two things in life: football and music.  We try to unify the two in print as well as we do in our own minds, but these things do not necessarily translate all that well when traveling between the abstract to the tangible.  But this new segment appears to be prepped for success and understanding.  It combines our favorite sport with one of our favorite songs and the two get along just fine, even if it is also combined with one of our least favorite things; NFL recap posts.  Regardless, it's 32 Things!

1.  Cowboys - Did anyone even notice that Roy Williams wasn't on the field during that final ill-fated play?

2.  Chiefs - A good sign your coach is desperate: an onsides kick to begin the second half.

3.  Ravens - The refs didn't drop that ball.  Mark Clayton did.

4.  Eagles - Soooo, is Donovan back yet?

5.  Texans - Never a sure bet when your offense is based mostly on kick and punt returns.

6.  Seahawks - Would Hasselbeck in the lineup really make that much more of a difference at this point?

7.  Cardinals - It's not a hangover.  They're just not that good.

8.  Jets -  The only team that can score on the Jets defense is apparently the Jets offense.

9.  Steelers - With that running game and that defense, should the Steelers ever lose?

10.  Bengals - This team could be so much better with an actual coach.

11.  Chargers - Remember when Antonio Cromartie was good?

12.  Giants - Steve Smith.

13.  Lions - They're definitely better and I think the coach is the reason for that.

14.  Niners - Sure it was only the Rams, but momentum doesn't stop for cream puffs.

15.  Falcons - Is Michael Turner done?

16.  Browns - Where former Patriots coaches go to die.

17.  Saints - All I'm saying is they better get home field advantage for the playoffs.

18.  Patriots - They're winning ugly again, and that's actually a good thing.

19.  Bears - Impressive, but 24 points to the Lions at home?

20.  Colts - Peyton Manning is the devil.  And I mean that in a good way.

21.  Rams - Who cares.

22.  Raiders - see Rams.

23.  Panthers - No team needed a bye week more than these... cats.

24.  Bills - T-minus one more loss before TO tears the locker room in half.

25.  Buccanears - One of the worst teams to watch in all of football.

26.  Redskins - But not nearly as bad as this team.

27.  Dolphins - Where Pop Warner offenses still thrive.

28.  Jaguars - And all of a sudden Jack Del Rio is safe.

29.  Broncos -  Couple things here:  Remember how bad we thought they were going to be?  Remember how screwed Babyface McDaniels was going to be?  Remember how you passed on Brandon Marshall on fantasy draft day?  Yeah, we all make mistakes.

30.  Titans - Seriously... What the fuck?

31.  Packers - FU BFF

32.  Vikings - OMG BFF!

  1. Lombardi once said, Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

Winning is the sole cure to any and all ailments within NFL franchises. All you have to do is win.
Traded your franchise qb? Just win without him and he's forgotten.
Haven't one a game in a year and a half? Just win one and your immediatly an improved team.

Winning solves any and all problems. Losing takes a team without problems and shows you the issues bubbling right below the surface.

    It's a fickel league. N.ot F.or L.ong

  2. So what you're saying is, Tony Romo only needs to win A game to shed the title of "Most Overrated Suckbag" in the league?

  3. No, he's saying that Roy Williams was a gigantic mistake and that at the very least Wade Phillips will be the one to pay for it.

  4. Romo is currently completely inaccurate, however, if you actually do look at his numbers since coming into the leauge....he's in pretty rare territory for qb rating, and completions.

    Wade Phillips needs to die.

Don't mind my inability to spell.
