Countdown to 2010: Quick Draw Edition

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Okay... Allow me to re-gain my cool for a moment.

Initial reactions: The Spanish seem to have the smoothest path to the tournament, as they once again get to play conquistador against a bunch of ex-colonies as well as to those lovable neuters from the Alps.  Although now that I look, they might as well just put Italy directly into the final 8 with that ridiculous pool.  As if they didn't get off easy enough last time through.

Best early round match:  Gotta be Brazil and Portugal.  Two powerhouse that will no doubt emerge that their group, but that game will certainly determine who gets the better seeding.  Mexico and France should be quite the battle as well.

Strongest Group:  B all the way.  Argentina and Greece are stacked, Nigeria is always a problem, and Korea is sneaky at worst.  Group C looks pretty good as well, if the US were not involved.  Sorry but until they prove something in the World Cup, then they have no business being taken seriously.  Group D is pretty well stocked, too.  But much like the US, we can't be high on Australia until they demonstrate something in the dance.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!
